“Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon. I am the first man to piss his pants on the moon.” - Buzz Aldrin

Buzz will feel as contemporary as tomorrow.  Neil Armstrong may have taken the kudos (and the commemorative stamps) but Buzz always was the dangerous one. You may have thought you’d heard everything about the Moon landing, but like Buzz, you’ve only just touched the surface.

The product of genetically induced depression: his grandfather put a shotgun in his mouth, his mother committed suicide. Then there were the stays in mental hospitals, the repeated bouts of alcoholism, and the serial philandering.

But despite or indeed because of all these flaws we’re drawn to him. Buzz, the series, will be a roller-coaster ride of emotions as we witness one of the greatest achievements of mankind alongside the tortured person who achieved it.

Buzz, the audio drama, will be released by iHeartMedia in Summer 2025.
