“Nobody has better respect for Intelligence than Donald Trump.” - Donald Trump

Central Intelligence is a multi-episode, multi-season series that explores the evolution of America’s relationship with the world and the world’s response to America.

It has a narrative style combining a Molotov cocktail of confidence and hubris, deadly action, personal tragedy, black humour, strokes of genius and dark corners of hidden doubt. More important, it is relevant today following a disastrous response to 9/11 which, twenty years later, led to the humiliating evacuation from Afghanistan.

Central Intelligence asks one simple question. What happened? The answer is a hell of a story. It involves egos, feuds, betrayals, jealousies, glory, power, paranoia, sex, drugs and two or three (thousand) long, soft martinis.

An audio drama starring and narrated by Kim Cattrall as Eloise Page, the first woman to become a station chief alongside Ed Harris as Allen Dulles, the man who founded the CIA and paid the price for the disaster that was the Bay of Pigs.

The first two series of Central Intelligence are available on BBC Sounds, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. The series will return in 2026 on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds.
